Meet the Staff

Jen Flint

I have competed at every distance from the 5K to the 50K. I actually set my marathon PR at Boston 2000 – 2:52:42…

Although my running and racing schedule has changed since having my son in March 2006 (think 5am running!) I'm still out there! I'm able to fit in about an hour of running each day - a real treat! I don't work quite as many days in the stores as I used to so I can spend some time with my son, but I am still in several days a week and love hearing about all the great goals and accomplishments of our customers!

Here's the family at my first race 6 weeks after having our baby!

Dubious Honors:
But in the end, do these things really matter?! It's all about having fun!!!

Likes: Training on hills and trails, cats, ice cream!

Dislikes: Taking running too seriously, indian burns, grouchy people.

Best sports moment: Winning the Women’s Distance Festival 5K in Ridley Creek Park in 1994 – it was the first 5K I ever won, and the only time my grandparents ever came to see me run. My time wasn’t that fast, but my grandfather passed away just a few months later so it will always be a special memory for me.

Worst sports moment: Falling over backwards on a spin-kick in a kick-boxing class in front of everyone! Stick to running….

Favorite Race(s): Covered Bridge 10 Miler, Falmouth Road Race, Dipsea
